The Lions Club of Odell was formed in 1956 and has been a vibrant and important part of the Odell Community ever since. It was formed out of a joining of the local chamber of commerce and “Odell Community Club”. Click here to download a .pdf of the charter members names.
Who we are:
The Lions Club of Odell has a long and rich history. In order to understand who we are, we have to concede that we are a product of those who came before and those who will come after us in service to their community. In that spirit, we recognize all of the members listed on the charter and in particular “Stoney”.

John Stonecipher was a charter member of the Lions Club of Odell and a cornerstone of the Odell Community his entire life. Even the newest members remember Stoney fondly. He is remembered by our club for his altruism and “lionism”. His memory lives on in the kind deeds that the Lions Club continues to perform.

We meet once a month at Rent’s Tap and Dining to discuss business, plan events and fundraisers, etc.
